At this year’s AntwerpXL, that took place on 28-30th November at the Antwerp Expo, stand awards were given to the most impressing exhibitors.
Throw a party, create a buzz and have fun on your stand at AntwerpXL. The winner of the ‘Best Stand Entertainment’ award this year was Zuidnatie who were the exhibitor with the best entertainment onsite.
Journalist Molly Cooper spoke with Maryse Verlaak, communications officer at Zuidnatie about winning the award.
‘At our stand we have a photo booth, we have a claw machine, which is completely personalised in the Zuidnatie branding. And yesterday, we also brought our brand to life, which is American football players. So we had real life players coming to our stand and people could play game with them or take pictures with them. It’s a super popular sport so lots of people enjoyed it. It was nice to have some publicity as well,’ says Verlaak.
Zuidnatie were surprised with their win, as most do not know about the stand awards. ‘It was really cool and very unexpected because I was just standing at the bar on our stand and the
AntwerpXL team came along and said we had won! It was a very nice surprise and we are super proud . And we posted it online on LinkedIn as well,’ she adds.
Commenting on the atmosphere of the show and how the team were enjoying it, Verlaak says: ‘It’s fun. I feel like people are more relaxed after the busy day yesterday.’
