Shell Fleet Solutions Opens Semi Public eTruck Charging in Ath
Shell Fleet Solutions has opened its first Semi Public eTruck charging location in Ath, Belgium. Reeload supported as site construction partner to deliver this milestone in heavy-duty fleet electrification.
Shell Fleet Solutions has reached a new milestone in Belgium with the opening of its first Semi Public eTruck charging location in Ath. The site, hosted at the Remitrans eDepot, now enables heavy-duty electric fleets to charge at up to 400 kW — powering the transition to low-emission transport on a large scale.
The Semi Public model, developed with SBRS GmbH, allows depot operators to open charging capacity to third-party vehicles at designated times. This maximizes utilization, generates additional revenue streams, and helps reduce the total cost of ownership for fleet operators.
As site construction partner, Reeload supported Shell in the delivery of this location, ensuring the infrastructure was designed and built to the highest standards of reliability and performance.
This achievement reflects the strength of collaboration across operators, technology providers, and construction partners, accelerating the adoption of heavy-duty e-mobility in Europe.
