AXL was first held in 2019 and quickly established itself as a key event in the maritime and logistics calendar. Following its successful inaugural edition, the exhibition continued to grow, despite interruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, and returned even stronger in the following years.
Strategically located in Antwerp—home to one of the largest ports in Europe—AXL is the ideal venue for an exhibition focused on breakbulk and project cargo. In 2024, the event once again brought the breakbulk community together to showcase innovative technologies, tackle industry challenges, and foster relationships built on trust.

AntwerpXL will co-locate this year with Transport & Logistics and Logistic and Industrial Build, attracting a larger audience. Despite this, AntwerpXL will maintain its own hall, complete with its own networking bar and entrance.
