Press Release: AAL’S first super b-class vessel completes record-breaking voyage

Premium project heavy lift carrier AAL Shipping’s 32,000 dwt Super B-Class vessel ‘AAL LIMASSOL’ has completed her maiden voyage to Europe, safely delivering over 89,000 freight tons of multipurpose cargo on a single sailing. This is not only a record cargo intake for the carrier, but a massive step forward for project owners needing to move their time-sensitive and valuable cargoes safely and efficiently.

Important Update on New Colombian Customs Regulations 

North Carga SAS, a Globalia member based in Bogota, Colombia, is pleased to announce a critical update regarding new customs regulations issued by the Colombian Customs Authority. As of May 22, a new decree mandates that all air and sea shipments arriving in Colombia must have an advance declaration submitted 72 hours prior to arrival.

Mammoet appointed as exclusive heavy-lift and heavy transport service supplier at Steel River Quay

Mammoet has entered into an agreement to become the exclusive contractor for the provision of heavy lift and transport services at Steel River Quay, which lies at the heart of the Teesworks industrial zone in Teesside. Teesworks is a 2,600-acre site, located on the banks of the River Tees in the Northeast of England, and is central to the Teesside Freeport – the largest freeport in the UK.

Departing from Vigo and arriving at Montoir de Bretagne via the Vigo‒Montoir shipping service, this granite is now efficiently conveyed by train to Lyon’s Part-Dieu station.
