De Grave Antverpia becomes DGA Shipping at AntwerpXL

De Grave Antverpia, one of the largest dry cargo players in Belgium and the entire ARA (Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes) region, has changed its name to DGA Shipping. The news was announced at AntwerpXL earlier this month, with the company also unveiling a total rebrand. In addition, DGA Shipping also gained recognition as an Incentive Provider of the Green Award Foundation. DGA Shipping is due to move to Atlantic House, overlooking the Antwerp port.

Dirk Verstraeten, CEO at DGA Shipping, says: ‘During my career – including 33 years within the petrochemical industry – I’ve experienced first-hand how crucial the European waterways are for n efficient and sustainable transport of, for example, dry bulk goods. The combination of water and sustainability was already in our DNA, and from now on we will also strongly express that to the outside world with our new blue and green logo and corporate identity.’

‘With our new and contemporary name and branding and soon also our top location, we will express more than ever what we stand for and what our ambition is for the future. All of this is also an acknowledgment of our current team that stands tall, day after day. Together with our clients and partners, we’re ready to face and shape the future of our company and our fascinating industry,’ he adds.
