CJ ICM in absorber moves

CJ ICM is transporting four absorbers from China to Uzbekistan via Haydarpasa port.

Two of the absorbers weigh 606 tonnes each, making them the heaviest overland cargo to be transported to Uzbekistan, said CJ ICM. They measure 43 m x 7 m x 6.95 m.

The inland journey to the job site is approximately 2,000 km and includes many challenging civil works and obstacle removals along the way.

With the transport of the absorbers, the freight forwarder said that it will break its previous in-country record, which involved the transport of a 520-tonne slurry hopper in 2018.
