RFID gates accurately register incoming materials and outgoing shipments. When integrated into ERP, WMS, or MES systems, they provide real-time transparency and support automated supply chain decisions.
Applications
Our dedicated gate application for dock doors runs either on an industrial Panel PC (Client) or directly on the RFID Reader (Engine, Node). All variants are designed to register and filter items in inbound and outbound shipments, ensure shipment accuracy, and keep stock levels up to date.
The appropriate setup for each dock door or entry point is selected based on specific customer requirements, and the same system can flexibly support different types of RFID gates as well as RTLS locators. Data collected by the Turck Vilant Client, Engine and Node applications is forwarded to the Turck Vilant Server for further processing—or, if preferred, directly to customer business systems such as WMS (Warehouse Management System) or ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning).
