Innovative and sustainable charging
The new charging station consists of:
· 280 kW fast charger for fast and efficient charging of e-trucks
· 300 kW / 635 kWh battery system for energy storage and grid optimization
· 60 kWp PV system to maximize solar energy utilization
· 3 x 80 amp grid connections
This will charge at least two electric trucks daily, utilizing locally generated solar energy as much as possible.
Flexible and future-proof solution
The charging station will provide G. van Doesburg Int. Transport BV with an optimally functioning charging infrastructure for the next 12 years, eliminating operational concerns. Moreover, the charging station is scalable, allowing the infrastructure to easily grow alongside the fleet. This allows the company to maintain flexibility in both charging capacity and costs, without unnecessary risks. The Province of Gelderland has provided a subsidy to (co-)realize this project.
With this project, Watts In Store is taking another innovative step in the transition to sustainable and future-proof logistics.
