Belgium is facing an intensification of cyberattacks, affecting all sectors: healthcare, finance, industry, public services, and, of course, transportation and logistics. According to the Belgian Center for Cybersecurity (CCB), computer intrusion attempts have jumped by nearly 30% since the beginning of the year, illustrating the growing pressure on businesses.
Faced with these threats, cybersecurity is no longer a purely technical issue, but a strategic pillar. It determines business continuity, data protection, and customer trust.

At Van Mieghem Logistics, cybersecurity is a daily responsibility.
For several years, Van Mieghem Logistics has opted for a structured, scalable cybersecurity strategy aligned with industry best practices.

This approach is based on several complementary pillars: a responsive and autonomous internal IT team, internally developed tools for complete control, a security culture instilled at all levels, regular audits and continuous external monitoring, and the security of our customers’ data.

Building long-term trust

In an environment where the reliability of logistics flows also depends on the robustness of its IT systems, Van Mieghem Logistics has chosen to invest sustainably in its digital security. Our ambition: to guarantee our customers a continuous, secure service, aligned with current data protection requirements.
Resilience isn’t limited to our vehicles or our warehouses: it’s also embodied in every line of code, every firewall, and every human decision made to protect what really matters.
