Export Operations Executive

As an Export Operations Executive, you play a central role in the operational monitoring of our
deepsea export shipments. You are the link between figures, coordination, and communication. No
day is the same – and that's precisely what you find fascinating.
Figures & Control
• You manage the daily figures and ensure accurate forecasting of
export volumes.
• You register data correctly and timely in MSC's own systems.
• You analyze capacity figures from various agents and make decisions at the European level – in consultation with
Geneva Liners.
• You perform checks on preload lists, OBL, loading lists, IMO data, and
reefer manifests, among other things.
Coordination
• You ensure that cargo is correctly assigned to the right vessels.
• Depending on the trade, you adjust when cargo needs to be shifted or closely follow
the instructions of Geneva Liners. Communication
• You will consult continuously with colleagues from Customer Service, Commercial, Operations, and Planners, as well as with terminals, partners, and Geneva Liners.
• You will build strong internal and external relationships and ensure a smooth flow of information.
In this role, you will report to the Export Operations Team Leader.

Customer Care Executive - Import
As a Customer Care Executive - Import in our Import department, you'll be the key player in the proactive handling of shipments arriving at the Port of Antwerp. You'll serve as the point of contact for our valued customers and guide them through the various operational steps of the import process, including arranging the necessary documentation, terminal clearance, handling costs, and more. With your global contacts at MSC agencies, you'll ensure the necessary manifest corrections and be responsible for managing long-standing containers and reclaiming returned equipment. You thrive in an environment that combines proactive problem-solving and customer-focused thinking, and you'll report directly to the Import Customer Service Team Lead.
Commercial Executive - Import
As a Commercial Executive Import at MSC, you'll be responsible for clients operating within your shipping area; maintaining existing client relationships and prospecting for new opportunities will be part of your responsibilities. Your goal is to identify and address your clients' needs. You'll be responsible for preparing, issuing, and following up on quotes in accordance with instructions from local management and head office, for both sea freight and value-added services. You'll also provide your clients with advice and support regarding the booking process at origin and the handling of inbound shipments at destination.
