Bodywork technician
As a trailer bodyworker, you'll be responsible for repairing, assembling, and maintaining trailer bodies. You'll work on metal structures as well as plastic and wood components. You'll ensure high-quality repairs and assembly in accordance with technical plans and safety regulations.
Tasks and responsibilities:
Performing repairs to semi-trailer and trailer bodies (e.g., damage repair, panel, roof, and sidewall replacement).
Performing construction work such as welding, grinding, drilling, and assembly.
Disassembling and assembling parts such as doors, bumpers, fenders, lights, and accessories.
Performing preventive maintenance on the body structure.
Checking the general condition of the body and identifying damage or wear.
Installing and connecting components such as sideboards or cabinet systems.
Working in accordance with company safety regulations and quality standards.
Maintaining work sheets and reporting on completed tasks.
Profile:
Experience as a bodyworker or metalworker, preferably in the truck or trailer sector.
Technical understanding of construction and bodywork.
Knowledge of welding (semi-automatic) is a plus.
Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
An eye for quality, safety, and order.
