TVM Belgium is the expert for transport and logistics relating to insurance policies, but also to advice and services. We offer specialised insurance policies for trucks, trailers, agricultural tractors, cranes, forklift trucks, company cars and other commercial vehicles. For this we work together with specialised insurance brokers.
Along with the insurance aspect, TVM promotes safer transportation by recognising and preventing risks and by actively work on loss reduction. One of the top priorities of the Prevention and Risk Management department is to provide services to our customers. In doing so we wish, as a partner that is deeply involved in the sector, to assist our customers on their path to continuity and safety in Europe.

Truck Insurance for self-arranged transport
To underscore our commitment to companies active in construction, distribution, and other businesses that arrange their own truck transport, we are expanding our truck insurance package this year with several free guarantees. TVM truck insurance for own-account transport is always tailored to your needs and includes three coverage options: Third-Party Liability, Comprehensive Insurance, and Legal Assistance. Claims handler
TVM Belgium is looking for a claims handler to handle material damage to cars and trucks. Some of your responsibilities include: - You will be responsible for independently handling both simple and complex claims related to various insurance products. - You will, together with your colleagues, be responsible for various brokers. - You will provide phone support to brokers and clients during the claim filing process and file follow-up.
Underwriter
Are you a whiz at analyzing files, do you enjoy negotiating, and are you looking for a role where you can utilize both your commercial flair and precision? Then you might be the new colleague we're looking for at TVM Belgium! A selection of your responsibilities: - You'll ensure a smooth and accurate process from quote to coverage application. - You'll assess and process applications for fleets of up to 5 vehicles. - You'll negotiate quotes and rate adjustments with brokers, and discuss terminations. - You'll have an eye for commercial opportunities and provide targeted advice. - You'll actively follow up on quotes and maintain close contact with brokers. - You'll work closely with colleagues from other departments and regularly coordinate with the commercial manager. - You'll maintain good relationships with brokers and identify commercial opportunities.
Team Leader Claims
The team handles all types of claims within the insurance branch motor that have occurred in Belgium involving Belgian parties. The team works on a constant influx of claims, where effective prioritisation and monitoring of deadlines are essential. We are seeking a team leader who will be responsible for the operational management and functioning of the team. A selection of your tasks: - You are responsible for day-to-day management and ensuring an efficient workflow. - You translate the vision, strategy and objectives into team objectives and actions. - You will foster a culture of cooperation within the team, encouraging employees to look beyond their individual tasks and put the interests of the team and the organisation first. - You will support your team members by coaching, motivating, evaluating and guiding them in their development.
Legal officer
A selection of your tasks: - Providing legal advice to all departments within TVM Belgium. - Supporting the first-line Compliance & Risk consultant. - Drafting and assessing contracts with customers and partners at the request of the departments within TVM Belgium. - Monitoring legal risks. - Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations and internal guidelines, and actively contributing to compliance requirements. In the event of deviations or signs of risk, you will liaise with the Compliance & Risk consultant. - Handling and following up on disputes and legal proceedings in collaboration with external solicitors. - Researching and implementing new legislation and regulations that may impact business activities. - Drafting and updating internal legal policies and procedures. - Advising and supporting management in strategic decisions with legal implications.
production manager
The Production department is an important link in the operation of TVM Belgium. Together, we ensure that policies are drawn up and managed quickly and accurately. To strengthen our team, we are looking for an enthusiastic production manager who will be responsible for managing the Flemish regions. A selection of your tasks: - You are the permanent point of contact for insurance brokers and are responsible for drawing up policies for new business. - You manage insurance contracts and follow up on all changes (additional vehicles, premium adjustments, cancellations, etc.). - You will work closely with colleagues in the Production department, your coordinator and manager, and other departments such as Underwriting, Sales, Claims and Finance. - You will actively participate in consultations and contribute ideas for improvements in processes and collaboration.
Underwriter
A selection of your tasks - You assess risk factors and claims history and translate this into quotations for existing and new customers. - You are responsible for everything from quotation to cover application and ensure that the Production department receives a complete and accurate file. - You will work in consultation with product development to update and refine the underwriting criteria and rate guidelines. - You will be responsible for the pricing of large fleets and special cases and will be the point of contact for complex issues. - You systematically monitor the profitability of the portfolio and contribute to the pricing and acceptance policy in collaboration with our prevention and risk management department. - You advise colleagues and brokers on insurance solutions, coverages and product packages. - You maintain good relationships with brokers, specialists and other external partners and identify commercial opportunities.
