About us
RFID Turnkey Solutions
Turck Vilant Systems is a provider of intelligent automation solutions for production and logistics.
From incoming goods through production to the retailer: RFID systems enable the automatic identification and location of goods. From long range identification to bulk readings and from multiplex gate systems to position-accurate detection at item level.
The RFID expertise of Turck Vilant Systems - part of the Turck Group - has been used in over 1.000 installations worldwide for more than 15 years.
There are only a few projects that we have not accepted. The explanation is simple: If we don't see any real benefits for the customer during our Site Survey process, we have the guts to say so. That's called honesty and we are known for it.
How RFID optimises logistics :
- automated goods receipt
- Automating material flow in warehouses using RFID for forklift systems
- picking of goods
- inventory control
- controlling the assembly and loading of shipments
- unmanned shop or warehouse with access control of people and inventory of goods
We free your material flow from manual errors, shorten inventory lead times and reduce stocks.

Forklifts equipped with RFID ensure reliable information on materials and their whereabouts
A smart track & trace application knows what a forklift truck is carrying on its forks and can easily track its movement from one hall to another. This is done using the Turck Vilant Client application, which runs on a local forklift truck PC. The data collected with the Client is forwarded to Turck Vilant Server for further processing or—if desired by the customer—directly to their business application, such as WMS (Warehouse Management System) or ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning).

RFID gates for automatic identification of incoming and outgoing goods
RFID gates accurately register incoming materials and outgoing shipments. When integrated into ERP, WMS, or MES systems, they provide real-time transparency and support automated supply chain decisions. Applications Our dedicated gate application for dock doors runs either on an industrial Panel PC (Client) or directly on the RFID Reader (Engine, Node). All variants are designed to register and filter items in inbound and outbound shipments, ensure shipment accuracy, and keep stock levels up to date. The appropriate setup for each dock door or entry point is selected based on specific customer requirements, and the same system can flexibly support different types of RFID gates as well as RTLS locators. Data collected by the Turck Vilant Client, Engine and Node applications is forwarded to the Turck Vilant Server for further processing—or, if preferred, directly to customer business systems such as WMS (Warehouse Management System) or ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning).

Pick-to-Light contributes to faster processes, fewer errors and higher customer satisfaction.
Pick-to-Light is a visual guidance system in which LED indicators help employees to collect parts or products quickly and without errors. The system is used in both assembly and logistics: 📦 Application in logistics: • Put-to-Light: incoming goods are placed correctly in the right location. • Pick-to-Light: products are picked quickly and accurately during order picking. • Improves inventory accuracy and reduces errors in outgoing shipments. ✅ Application in assembly: • Operators are visually guided to the right parts, in the right order and quantity. • Reduces errors and increases efficiency. • Supports lean manufacturing and poka-yoke (error prevention). • Minimal training required for consistent process quality. Turck Multiprox has implemented numerous applications over the years. Check with our experts!

Turck Vilant Shipment Calculator tool: What is the impact of RFID on your business results and the environment?
Turck Vilant Systems has developed a tool that helps estimate the impact of RFID technology on logistics operations, thereby contributing to greater sustainability in logistics. The calculator analyses how RFID can contribute to: • Verification of pick lists • Checking during packaging and loading • Tracking of handling units • Real-time logging of shipping data In addition to operational efficiency, RFID also contributes to sustainability goals: • Fewer returns due to error-free deliveries • Lower CO₂ emissions thanks to more efficient transport and fewer reshipments • Lower energy consumption through faster processing in warehouses • Paper savings through digital registration By using RFID intelligently, it is possible to: • Reduce errors by up to 86% • Increase customer satisfaction • Reduce your ecological footprint • Strengthen cooperation between logistics and IT If you would like to know how this technology can be integrated into your processes, please contact our experts for advice.

Choosing between an RFID gate or a forklift truck with RFID. What are the criteria?
Choosing between an RFID gate or a forklift truck. What are the criteria? RFID equipped forklifts extend the reach of RFID into manufacturing and storage facilities. The general rule is: the more RFID points read, the more visibility, so it is lucrative to extend use to forklifts. However, not all applications are optimal for forklift use, so some general rules are needed about when to use a forklift and when to use fixed read points.

RFID Store - Your Stock at Customers’ Doorstep
Unmanned shops with RFID: a smart solution for 24/7 availability RFID technology makes it possible to create fully or partially unmanned self-service shops. Product recognition, stock management and payment are automatic and efficient. The solution from Turck Vilant Systems allows stock rooms and shops to be managed without staff, even in shipping containers or warehouses. Customers can pick up products at any time, ensuring immediate availability and better service. Each store consists of a shopping area where products are selected and a reading zone where RFID tags are scanned to register purchases and replenish stock. These RFID stores are a valuable addition to existing sales channels such as physical stores, apps and webshops.

Track & Trace in logistics: when does it make sense?
For logistics professionals, it is essential to know quickly and accurately where goods, materials and assets are located. This flowchart helps you determine whether an automated Track & Trace system such as RFID, RTLS or GPS offers added value for your processes. The decision tree starts with the question of whether you produce or move goods. It then looks at your role in the chain, whether time is lost searching for items, and whether tracking technology is already in place. If you regularly have to deal with searching, stock discrepancies or inefficiencies in the warehouse or transport, then it is time to consider: - RFID for fast and bulk identification of goods - RTLS for real-time location determination within buildings - GPS for tracking during transport - Barcodes as an entry-level solution for basic identification A well-chosen Track & Trace system increases visibility in the supply chain, reduces errors and speeds up processes. Since 2022 Turck Vilant Systems offers tailor-made solutions, tailored to your logistics challenges. Ask our professionals for advice!
