Spliethoff
DRY CARGO SPECIALIST IN WORLDWIDE OCEAN TRANSPORT Established in 1921, Spliethoff operates a fleet of about 50 modern, Dutch flagged, 1A ice-classed, multipurpose vessels, ranging from 12,000 to 23,000 DWT. All vessels are equipped with removable tweendecks and cargo cranes with capacities up to 360 tonnes in tandem lift. The fleet is constantly being renewed. Highly trained personnel in our global office network, on board the ships and in ports all over the world are dedicated to maintaining stringent safety and quality standards.
Sevenstar Yacht Transport
Sevenstar Yacht Transport was founded in 1985 to serve the North European market. Acquired by Dutch worldwide shipping company the Spliethoff Group in 2000, it expanded to become a worldwide network with offices in the United States, the UK, Australia and Turkey, and agents in Monaco, Germany, Russia and New Zealand. Today Sevenstar is the world’s leading provider of yacht transportation services on a lift-on, lift-off basis. We arrange the transport of around 2,000 yachts annually and are expanding in the growing economies of Asia, South America and Africa. Sevenstar has access to the Spliethoff Group’s own fleet of vessels. Our ships are designed especially for yacht transport and we believe in constantly developing our staff and tools to perfect skills and technologies. Spliethoff has a modern fleet of around 125 vessels from 2,100 to 23,000 tonnes, and is a leading provider in specialised sea transport.
BigLift Shipping
BigLift Shipping, member of the Spliethoff Group, is one of the world’s leading heavy lift shipping companies, specialised in worldwide ocean transportation of heavy lift and project cargoes, with a history dating back to 1973. BigLift strives for innovation, excellence and operational reliability, adhering to high Health, Safety, Environment and Quality standards and operating to strict time schedules. A great variety of heavy and over-sized cargoes for long-standing clients in the oil & gas, mining and power generating industries, is carried worldwide by a modern fleet of 16 specialised heavy transport vessels.
Wijnne Barends
Wijnne Barends was founded in 1855 and is one of the oldest active shipping companies in the world. Based in Delfzijl, Wijnne Barends has developed into a dynamic and flexible company with all the disciplines required to provide an outstanding service for cargo providers and receivers. Wijnne Barends offers its fleet in management a broad range of services, including chartering, crewing, financial management, ISM, ISPS and MLC certification, insurance and technical and nautical management. The main activities are ship management and maritime management as well as chartering of variable dry goods and bulk cargo, especially wood- and steel products. The main navigation area is from the White Sea to the Black Sea: Scandinavia, the Baltic States, Western Europe and the Mediterranean.
Transfennica
Transfennica, established in 1976, is a liner-shipping carrier operating a specialised, multi-purpose, highly ice-strengthened Ro-Ro fleet serving the European market. In 2002 Transfennica became a part of the Amsterdam-based Spliethoff Group. Our modern Ro-Ro fleet, with a speed of 20+ knots, offer several fast transport routes between continental Europe, Estonia and Finland. Their advantage lies in the fastest total lead times coupled with extensive information technology back-up plus fast cargo handling, flexibility and safety.
Bore Ltd.
Bore has long traditions in shipping, dating back to 1897, when Bore was founded. Today, Bore offers industrial shipping services with a highly maintained fleet, consisting of vessels that have year-round service and Ice Class 1A or 1A Super, and are suitable for the RoRo market.
DYT Yacht Transport
SCHEDULE YOUR DYT TIME DYT Yacht Transport operates two semi-submersible vessels, offering dedicated float-on, float-off yacht transport. DYT is always on schedule with frequent and regular sailings transatlantic or to a wide range of destinations worldwide. DYT Yacht Transport offers an all-inclusive service: cribbing, excellent voyage insurance, and basic customs clearance fees are included in the total price. ForestWave is a growing full-service maritime and offshore logistics provider, operating a modern fleet of 30 versatile vessels (5,000-12,500 DWT). Starting September 30th, 2024, ForestWave is a member of the Spliethoff Group. Based in the Netherlands with offices in the UK and Spain, we specialize in short sea and worldwide multipurpose shipping, primarily in European waters and the Atlantic Basin. Our services include chartering, ship management, and project development.
