We are ID Logistics Benelux

ID Logistics is a leading logistics service provider, specialized in contract logistics and transport. We focus on all activities, systems, processes, and innovations within the four walls of our warehouses. In addition, we offer strong capabilities in transport and distribution, providing end-to-end supply chain solutions for leading customers across various sectors.

Founded in 2001 in the south of France, ID Logistics has grown into a global player with more than 42,000 employees, over 450 sites, and more than 9 million m² of warehouse space across 18 countries.

ID Logistics Benelux was established in 2013 following the acquisition of CEPL, including a first site in Tilburg (80,000 m²) for Sony. Since then, we have experienced significant growth. Today, we operate 25 sites with 750,000 m² of warehouse space, generate €355 million in revenue, and employ more than 2,800 professionals.

Our strength lies in the combination of scale and agility: industry-leading yet flexible, personal yet innovative. We deliver industry-specific solutions for sectors such as retail, e-commerce, food retail, FMCG, and consumer electronics. With our expertise in omni-channel logistics, we support our customers in reaching their end users through multiple sales channels – from physical stores and webshops to dark stores, online marketplaces, outlets, and auction platforms.

Our warehouses feature a range of innovative technologies, including automated packaging machines, robotic picking solutions, drone-based inventory management, automatic unloading docks, sorters, AS/RS high-bay systems, and VR training tools. Customers such as Maxeda (Praxis/Brico), Mediamarkt, Carrefour, Intratuin, PPG, Makro, Sony, and Sodastream rely on our services every day.

In addition to warehousing, we are also a specialist in transport and distribution throughout the Benelux. With nine strategically located hubs and a dense network, we deliver to more than 12,000 addresses within 24 hours, every day. We also offer 4PL Transport Management services, including transport planning, contract management, track & trace through Delivery Management Systems, and – when requested – acting as lead logistics provider in cooperation with the best transport partners.

Warehousing

ID Logistics is a 3PL logistics provider expert in warehousing. Our initial expertise went from standard food retail (with our historic customer Carrefour) to a nowadays deep expertise in e-commerce and its best practices (MediaMarkt, SodaStream, Sony...). ID Logistics is a fast growing logistics company due to a close relation between the working teams and the management. Last mile delivery

With ID Logistics, your goods are delivered anywhere in the Benelux within 24 hours. You always have full visibility of your shipment’s location and a dedicated contact person for any questions. We operate a dense distribution network throughout the entire Benelux and, thanks to our strategically located hubs and extensive standard services, we are a market leader in transport and distribution. We handle high-quality products that require care and safety, such as high-tech equipment, computers, heat pumps, garden furniture and lighting. With our regional hubs in Tilburg, Alkmaar, Apeldoorn, Veendam, Echt, Berkel en Rodenrijs and Willebroek (B), you have the most important cities in the Benelux within easy reach. This allows us to efficiently and environmentally friendly deliver to city centres. Our distribution network works as it should: reliable, sustainable, flexible and competitive. Our hubs meet the highest safety standards. The cross-dock platforms within the hubs are designed to handle both smaller, non-palletised shipments and larger pallet shipments.

Benelux transport

In addition to its dense distribution network, ID Logistics also operates an extensive network for LTL (Less than Truck Load) shipments and a network for FTL (Full Truck Load) transport. The transports are carried out from various ID Logistics locations in the Netherlands and Belgium or directly from the loading site. For planning these transport shipments, ID Logistics uses advanced route planning software. Thanks to our scale and by efficiently combining routes, we minimise empty mileage. This is not only sustainable but also delivers a cost advantage.

Internationaal Freight Management

The Freight Management department of ID Logistics guarantees perfect transport solutions outside the Benelux. For international transport, ID Logistics exclusively works with regional or country specialists—carriers who meet ID Logistics standards and have expertise in specific regions or countries. Thanks to our many years of experience and in-depth knowledge of the fragmented transport market, we always select the best and most cost-effective transport solution for you, ranging from pallet shipments to full loads. With ID Logistics Freight Management, you no longer waste valuable time managing a complex network of different carriers and can be assured of the best international transport solutions.

Backhaul logistics: tailored service Delivering, picking up goods, and transporting them to your distribution center? We provide customized backhaul services. Our IT systems support the entire process from order entry to invoicing. Speaking of invoicing, this can be handled via the client or directly billed to the supplier. Efficiently arranged linehauls Is your company located outside the Benelux but delivering products within this region? With our complete solution, we organize linehauls from the foreign location to one of our hubs. We coordinate delivery appointments with the recipients and ensure the goods are delivered. From our control tower, we monitor and manage the entire process. You always have a dedicated contact within our organization and can track all shipments via our track & trace system. In-House Transport Management: ID Logistics takes care of it On-site transport management adds value to your warehouse operations. An ID Logistics employee works at your office and coordinates transport. Thanks to direct contact and very short communication lines, your supply chain runs smoothly and efficiently. This solution is ideal if you frequently handle large volumes or complex shipments. On-site shunting: efficiency right up to the dock door Want to save time and organize truck movements efficiently on your premises? With on-site shunting, you make optimal use of your dock. Our driver uses a terminal tractor to position trucks at your dock doors and removes them immediately after unloading. Trailers can also be moved short distances via road.
