We are pleased to inform you about the expansion of our services: from May 2nd, in addition to Irun and Barcelona, we will offer a daily departure service to Madrid, Spain.
From 1 July 2025, Hamann International Logistics will significantly expand its infrastructure with a new 6,200 m² high-threshold Seveso site, specially designed for the storage and handling of dangerous goods.

Considering the nature and urgency of the shipment, you’ll select the right mode of transport for the customer. You’ll schedule these and communicate them to the customer. Your experience and insight will enable you to ensure that often complex logistics processes run smoothly, ensuring the goods reach their destination within the agreed timeframe and price.
(3 shifts – alternating early/late and day shift)
Function
Handling all import and forwarding files (incoming, outgoing, and transit shipments):

Registering incoming orders;

Creating the forwarding file;
–
Forwarding tasks to be performed to subcontractors;
–
Preparing all necessary documents required to execute the order (via existing computer software or manually);

Following up the shipment until it reaches its final destination;
–
Informing the customer or agent about the progress of the shipment.
Administrative:
–
Entering and verifying the costs incurred for each file;
–
Settling the customer based on the agreed terms;
–
Resolving any disputes that may arise during the execution of the order, either resolving them yourself or forwarding them to the forwarder, depending on the scope.
As Customs Lead, you will be responsible for the complete handling of customs documents relating to import, export, transit, storage, and excise duties.
You will lead a team of enthusiastic customs brokers and coordinate our customs activities.
Together with your colleagues in the commercial team, you’ll succeed in further expanding Hamann International Logistics’ existing client portfolio. Through active prospecting and leveraging your existing network, you’ll open doors to companies and stay informed about interesting projects that lead to new clients and successful deals. To achieve this, you’ll analyze market data, develop a targeted prospecting plan, and take the necessary actions to achieve the set targets. You’ll be the primary contact for companies interested in the added value Hamann International Logistics can offer.
As the commercial right-hand man for our operational colleagues, you’ll receive (price) requests from prospects and customers via email. You’ll calculate the cost of these transport requests and coordinate them with your operational colleagues. You’ll ensure that customers and prospects quickly receive competitive rates in a professional manner and follow up by phone. You’ll also handle the administrative side of this process.
Market knowledge is developed daily, and together with your operational colleagues, you’ll become the ad hoc pricing specialist for this European region.
