IT Technician

As part of NX Europe Group’s expansion, we are looking to recruit an IT Technician who will work at our Brussels airport office and be a member of the European IT division that is responsible for delivering services to 16 NX companies in the EMEA region.

The ideal candidate will be the 3rd member of the Belgian IT team consisting of 2 members. The team works in collaboration with IT teams located in London, Amsterdam and Monchengladbach. For this job you will work at our head office located in Machelen and sometimes work from our other locations in Mechelen, Genk and Liège upon request.

The purpose of this role is to provide front line support to NX Belgium through up keep and maintenance of local IT services and contribute to the delivery of centralised services provided by the European IT Division. You will bring at least 3 years’ experience working within an IT helpdesk or similar role.

AR accounting officer

Oversee accurate and timely processing of all AR transactions and ensure effective and prompt collection of outstanding receivables.
Drive optimal working capital and fast cash flow while maintaining compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Actively participate in internal credit management meetings and prepare reports on AR status for internal stakeholders.
Monitor depreciation schedules and aged receivables.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve issues impacting payments and collection activities.

Safety & Health Coordinator

The S&H Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, monitoring and continuously improving the safety policy within Nippon Express Belgium. In this role, you will ensure compliance with Belgian welfare legislation and internal safety standards, with a particular focus on the risks in a logistics and freight forwarding environment.

You will act as the point of contact for all safety issues, coordinate preventive actions, support management and be actively present on the work floor. In addition, you will occasionally take on backup tasks within the Sustainability domain, in support of the sustainability policy.
