During a particulate filter reconditioning, we replace malfunctioning or broken internal parts. These are then replaced with a high-quality new substrate or element.
Reconditioning may involve replacing a substrate that has shifted. We then insert a new (insulating) mat. If necessary, we perform modifications to prevent future shifting. We may also replace a sensor connection.
A particulate filter reconditioning is sustainable. The housing is reused, and only broken parts are replaced. The cost savings compared to a new one can be up to 80%.
