As Commercial Manager Offshore and Logistics, Allard is responsible for a combination of offshore related activities and breakbulk logistics within the port of Amsterdam. The current focus for the Port of Amsterdam is to increase the breakbulk cargo volumes going through Amsterdam, with a focus on short sea and inland connections. With developments like the North West Central Corridor, world’s largest sea lock and stable short sea connections, Amsterdam has a great grow potential in the logistic segment. With five unique terminals, Amsterdam offers a competitive and flexible area, with sufficient capacity for growth.
