Van der Vlist has expanded its fleet with a trailer capable of transporting tower sections of the latest generation of wind turbines.
The latest mega windmill trailer XL has entered into operation at Van der Vlist. With this trailer, Van der Vlist can safely and efficiently transport tower sections of the new generation of wind turbines. The trailer is suitable for tower sections of various diameters. Recently Van der Vlist transported tower sections with a diameter of 6.3 metres.
A second trailer has been purchased and will be delivered shortly. Van der Vlist have invested in these trailers to meet the increasing transport needs of large diameter towers. At the moment, and in 2023, major projects are being realised in which this new equipment will be used. With these new trailers, Van der Vlist is ready for the future.
