Offshore foundations depart Le Havre

On July 29, the first convoy carrying three gravity-based foundations for France’s Fécamp offshore wind farm left Haropa’s port of Le Havre.

The foundations were moved using the Castoro XI pontoon which was assisted by three tugs. The convoy traversed the François I lock before sailing away to the offshore site on July 30.  

A total of 71 gravity-based foundations be shipped from the Bougainville terminal.
