Wagenborg ships project cargo to finish gulf

The vessel loaded the tank-like silos into the hold and upper deck in the Port of Antwerp, Belgium, before sailing to a cold and snowy Gulf of Finland, the easternmost arm of the Baltic Sea. It extends between Finland to the north and Estonia to the south, to Saint Petersburg in Russia to the east, where the river Neva drains into it.

Equipped with 2 x 80-tonne deck cranes, this geared vessel is one of Wagenborg’s 12.000 dwt vessels which is suitable for shipping project cargo.

Wagenborg’s geared 12.000 dwt vessels – 7 vessels in total – are often used for regularly sailed routes in several areas, resulting in a semi-liner service. The semi-liner service has regular departures, but no fixed schedule.
