Ocean Export Operated Forwarder - Temporary

The main purpose is to assist with processing ocean export transactions, including all related activities, for an assigned base of accounts. Assist with duties related to document preparation and traffic coordination required to process export shipments. The Ocean Export Operated Forwarder needs to perform all duties correctly, cost-efficiently, within company standards, and under the close supervision of the department Supervisor or Manager.

Warehouse Operator 14:00 - 22:00

As a warehouse worker, you are a key player in the logistics process, responsible for receiving, storing, and shipping goods efficiently within set timeframes. Role and Responsibilities Receiving goods: Unloading trucks (scanner, pallet,…) and verifying transport documents. Storage: Transporting the goods to the loading zone. Quality control: Checking received goods for quantity, dimensions, weight, and potential damage. Documentation: Completing and signing off required documents (including loading and unloading notes). Passing on the necessary documentation to the office employees Inventory management: Registering received goods in the company’s warehouse system. Order fulfillment: Pick & pack outgoing orders using company owned Warehouse system. Additional tasks: Labeling, sealing, and performing basic maintenance activities. Safety & cleanliness: Maintaining a tidy and safe workspace (materials, pallet space and workstations).

Warehouse Team Leader

Shunter/Yard Driver

Trailer Movement: Drive trucks between the trailer parking and our warehouse site. Gate Positioning: Accurately position trailers at the correct loading or unloading gate. Yard Coordination: Move trailers aside when needed to prevent delays or congestion. Return Trips: Bring trailers back to the parking area once they are loaded. Communication: Stay in close contact with the logistics team to coordinate all trailer movements. Connection Tasks: Properly connect and disconnect trailers to and from the shunting vehicle. Team Collaboration: Work respectfully and efficiently with colleagues and supervisors.

As a Supervisor Ocean Export, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations f the ocean export department. You will ensure the efficient and accurate handling of all export shipments while providing clear and timely reporting to the Ocean Business Manager. With your expertise and leadership skills, you will guide the team toward achieving its export targets and maintaining high service standards.

IT Technician

As part of NX Europe Group’s expansion, we are looking to recruit an IT Technician who will work at our Brussels airport office and be a member of the European IT division that is responsible for delivering services to 16 NX companies in the EMEA region. The ideal candidate will be the 3rd member of the Belgian IT team consisting of 2 members. The team works in collaboration with IT teams located in London, Amsterdam and Monchengladbach. For this job you will work at our head office located in Machelen and sometimes work from our other locations in Mechelen, Genk and Liège upon request. The purpose of this role is to provide front line support to NX Belgium through up keep and maintenance of local IT services and contribute to the delivery of centralised services provided by the European IT Division. You will bring at least 3 years’ experience working within an IT helpdesk or similar role.

AR accounting officer

Oversee accurate and timely processing of all AR transactions and ensure effective and prompt collection of outstanding receivables. Drive optimal working capital and fast cash flow while maintaining compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Actively participate in internal credit management meetings and prepare reports on AR status for internal stakeholders. Monitor depreciation schedules and aged receivables. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve issues impacting payments and collection activities.

The S&H Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, monitoring and continuously improving the safety policy within Nippon Express Belgium. In this role, you will ensure compliance with Belgian welfare legislation and internal safety standards, with a particular focus on the risks in a logistics and freight forwarding environment. You will act as the point of contact for all safety issues, coordinate preventive actions, support management and be actively present on the work floor. In addition, you will occasionally take on backup tasks within the Sustainability domain, in support of the sustainability policy.
