Katarina was born 15th January 1976 and spent her educational career at the University of Economics with a Masters degree in International Trade.

She then began her professional career, beginning as a travel guide for foreign tourists in Vienna, Budapest, Italy and Croatia. Katarina started working for Port of Antwerp-Bruges in 2014 and is now a Senior Advisor for intermodal transport, and is married with two children.

Katarina can fluently speak six languages, including Russian and Slovak, and her hobbies including listening to music, cycling and travelling.
